My name is Rachel and I'm currently a video game design student at UQAT in Montreal. I graduated from CEGEP with a DEC in multimedia integration.
I live and breathe for video games, whether I am playing or making them. I love making people feel a wide range of emotions through my games, and seeing players experience them and enjoy my projects brings me fulfillment.
In 2019 and 2021, I got the opportunity to work at Ludia Inc., which solidified my want to work in the video game industry.
In 2023, my team, in which I was the designer, won the "Best prototype" award at the 2023 Ubisoft Gamelab competition, along with the prize for "Best creativity and integration of the theme" for our game Soul Shaper.
Although I've dabbled with both the programming and art aspects of game dev, I have found that my place lies with game design.
When I'm not hovering around video games, you can usually find me reading fantasy novels, drawing, cosplaying or hiking.
